Research On Designing Of Manmade Lake Embankment In City Parks

Because of the increasing building density and cars, the dence underground parking, the surface of cities is almost an impervious crust.This not only destroyed the natural ecosystem, the quality of urban residents’life will also be seriously affected. City park is the rare charming open spaces where people can close to nature and have some leisure sports. City parks artificial lake embankments is the affiliation interface between water and soil in city environment, also it is an vitality place for people’s hydrotropism.With the improvement of people’s demanding on living environment,the construction of City Park with a beautiful manmade lake is becoming more and more popular in China.It is beneficial to establish the image of the city,and form the city’s character.It is also an effective measure for government a release the pressure of urban environment. Thus, research on the city parks artificial lake revetment design has a high ecological value, aesthetic value and practical significance.This article takes the manmade lake embankment of city parks as its research object.The author has collected many domestic and foreign theories refer to this subject,and has made deep analysis on them. It reviewed the development of city parks as well as its functional evolution.By analyzing the the design elements of manmade lake embankment of city parksjust as shoreline, section,landform,plants, materials,details, comparising with other water revetment,the artical summed up the characteristics of manmade lake embankments in city parks.This article make landscape ecology, landscape aesthetics, environmental and behavioral psychology, as well as landscape design as its theoretical guide.,the author proposed a series of guiding principles.According to the different function of the manmade lake embankments of city parks,the author divided it into four types as ecological protection type, activity type, traffic and distribution type,landscaping type.The author give concrete design methodology of every embankement type thought linking some cases both at home and abroad,espatialy according to the practice in Zhuzhou Shen nong Lake City Park Program when I follow my mentor during the period of my master time.In the21st century, more and more attention has paid to the urban living environment,and the construction of manmade lake of the city parks will entered a new stage of development. This paper aims to serve as a stimulus to promote further development of city parks artificial lake embankments design throught this preliminary study on the subject.
