Research Of Update Planning And Design Of Lotus Lake Park In Caidian District

In recent5years, Caidian is constructing Wuhan urban ecological livable city to adapt to development needs in the new period. Building Caidian District as a livable city depends on the ample lake resources, now Caidian District has built:Jinlong kiosk eco-homes, Jiuzhen mountain, Houguan Lake Country Park, Chen lake wetland natural conversation district and so on. However, the Lotus Lake which located in the main region of Caidian District has been in a state of pollution and rough management since the region has been built. Based on the Caidian District2006-2008lake water quality monitoring report, since the Lotus Lake restoration project started, the Lotus lake water quality has not gotten a good improvement, it has always been under serious eutrophication and domestic pollution. In this article, Lotus Lake is the research object, in the absorption of the current domestic and foreign outstanding success case of building Lakeside Park,and on the basis of a detailed site survey of Lotus lake, combing with the Caidian District overall urban planning and a series town Renewal strategy of Caidian District, proposing Caidian District Center Lakeside Park planning, design and updated policy, which is aimed at reducing the interference of urban space on the lake natural space, repairing the ecological functions of the lake, enhancing the economic value of the lake surrounding land, creating human and city, human and nature a harmony livable environment.This article is composed by3parts. First, by integrating the relevant academic theories of the river ecological protection, lakeside park, the lakeside commercial street, the urban comprehensive park planning, author explains the related concepts, review research progresses from both national and international perspectives, and deeply discuss and summarize the certain typical cases. Second, with four theories and practical situation, which is refer to ecology and landscape architecture theory and urban sustainable development theory guiding lakeside park planning and design analysis, and importance of certain features of lakeside region,for the urban development, the author come up with the idea of "4regions"——Riverfront Life Movement Area, the Riverfront Business Culture Area, the lake eco-experience area, riparian natural scenery Area, which realize the cooperative development in order to adjust to the future development of Caidian. Likewise, the significance of Lotus Lake for the Caidian city renew and construction is illustrated as well. Last, the author makes a reasonable and detailed planning scheme by analyzing Lotus lake’s site culture and considering unique geographic feature of Caidian District from all aspects.The update of the lake-ecosystem and living space is a long-term, dynamic process, the planning and design determines the land use of the Lotus Lake in general. According to the ecological problems of the lakes and the residence living status, develop appropriate functional area use patterns, as well as space transportation, vegetation, roads, public infrastructure and other planning and redesign, combining with the local Lotus Water "culture of Caidian District, blend the agricultural landscape into the city, promote of urban residents and site of natural and cultural exchanges, extend the workplace culture.
