China’s topography and geology is very complex, and it often need to build the tunnel in the highway construction project. Restrictions due to the special geological and topographical conditions, in comprehensive technical and economic aspects of comparison, when the line should not be changed, it is often a tunnel built on a mountain slope. These slopes often occur deformation, cracking and other diseases. A few investigation show that slope deformation and failure of closely is related with the tunnel excavation. To solve the problem, with the slope of Paitou Tunnel’entrance of a highway as the actual background, I have carried out the research work of the tunnel excavation on the slope stability impacts:(1) To the Slope of Paitou Tunnel entrance a study on background, I carry the research related wide range of topics, and based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature, I in-depth discuss on the slope stability analysis methods and computing theory, summed up the impact of tunnel side of slope stability factors. In the same time, the failure mechanism of tunnel entrance slope is studied in theoretical;(2) With the layout of the slope and tunnel monitoring sections in the field, we monitor the displacement of the slope of displacement and of the tunnel to reach the purpose of considering the tunnel excavation slope stability. Combining with the tunnel project the actual field data were analyzed, we get the law of deformation of the tunnel excavation slope and tunnel deformation characteristics;(3) We investigate the mechanism of interaction of the slope and tunnel deformation by numerical simulation analysis and evaluate the overall stability of the slope before the tunnel excavation. Then we also analysis that the step of the tunnel excavation on the slope deformation and force, and the tunnel excavation slope deformation and the force of law. Finally, by combining the characteristics of the actual project selection, the treatments of the tunnel landslide are brought up.
