In order to improve the safety performance of occupant restraint system, in thispaper, the simulation model of the frontal impact restraint system is established underthe vehicle frontal crash standards.And build surrogate model based on its objectivefunction. The simulation model mainly use the reliability optimization method tocarry on the analysis of surrogate model to avoid the shortage of traditionaloptimization method.(1)On the basis of reading and researching many papers about the occupantrestraint system to build the simulation model of frontal impact occupant restraintsystem. The whole model consists of a car body,safety belts and a dummy.(2)In order to reduce the design parameters of the frontal impact occupantrestraint system and optimize the safety performance of occupant restraint system.Theoccupant restraint system design parameters using the Latin square experimentalmethod to build the linear regression equation, we can select the sensitive designvariables according to the eqation;The screening design parameters using Latin squareexperiment design method to establish the response surface model.In order to improvethe response surface fitting accuracy to simplify response surface and build thesimplified model of response surface. Finally, check the precision with simulationmodel.(3)The simplified model of response surface is as a approximation model,usingSequential Quadratic Programming method to optimize the approximation model toimprove safety performance of the frontal impact occupant restraint system,andevaluate the reliability of deterministic optimization result by using Monte Carlomethod.(4)Contact the reliability with the constraint problem of optimization and set thefeasible direction method and Monte Carlo analysis in one to use the reliabilityoptimization method based on the approximate model, in order to meet the needs offrontal impact occupant restraint system design objectives and improve the reliabilityof design constraints;Compared the reliability assessment results of deterministicoptimization with reliability optimization results and rounded the reliabilityoptimization results.Finally,make the frontal impact occupant restraint system modeltest and reliability test.The method of surrogate model and the reliability design combining in occupant restraint system not only to quickly get the optimal results, and reliable, reasonableand relatively safe to use in practical engineering.
