Air supply system is the main part of the train of urban rail transit for train braking,slowing down, the brake etc providing clean compressed air. In order to train start, stop time,speed can control more accurate, and reduce equipment fault occurs, the research of thesystem work mode and oil level measurement system of air supply system are keysignificance. The intelligent module can realize the work mode, and monitoring equipmentimportant components, measuring pressure, temperature, oil level.In addition, the design of system needs to air supply system with good reliability.Through RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and security) analysis can find theweak link of the system, and thus improve the system design. Paper includes the contents:Firstly, the design of a working model, including normal work mode, mandatory startwork mode, delay work mode. Normal work mode is the key point, and the method is the useof pressure sensor to measure the pressure inside the total wind cylinder, according to sizepressure value, determine the system working condition. In order to ensure that the system ismore stable for the train start equipment gas supply from air supply system, and convenienttesting and maintenance.Secongly, air supply system’s oil level is an important index. The actual oil levelmeasurement system, two problems need to be solved:(a)equipment operation, lubricatingoil the static, but in the fuel system in circulation,(b)the lubricating oil dielectric constant oflubricant with big changes and metamorphism, need to change regularly. The solution is touse a sampling period (such as half a year) lubricating oil, measurement of the different stagesof the dielectric constant. The model and its parameters of the system input air supply systemin the module intelligence.Thirdly, RAMS analysi for research and development to air supply system. The fault treeanalysis method in calculating failure rate to measure reliability, average maintenance timemeasure maintenance degrees.Test results and operation shows that the design of air supply system’s intelligent modulesystem of accords with a requirement, higher reliability. For early found fault, prevent thefault has played a significant role, reaches the RAMS level.
