Hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge is the bridge connects its main girder by two ormore different materials along the longitudinal beams of the body through the fittingsand tendons or anchors. Through rational use of the steel and concrete, the hybridgirder structures make the mechanical properties, ability and economic performance ofthe bridge all have a much improved. As the key parts of the hybrid girder cable-stayedbridge, the structure and mechanical characteristics of hybrid girder are complicated.With more and more of the engineering application, the detailed scientific research ofhybrid girder is an important issue for Engineering and technical personnel andscientific research personnel.At present, although the research of hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge are so much,but too focused on the bending under section of the combination between with theforce transmission mechanism and the mechanical characteristics,and the reports inthe literature of research for the hybrid girder of single cable plane cable-stayed bridgewith wide box under the effect of extrusion, bending and twisting are so little, Inaddition, it has few research results for mechanical properties and the application ofinnovation of the pouring material in hybrid girder. However, hybrid structure stillneeds far more research, and the consummation to related theoretical system also needsto be carried on. It is necessary to carry out a comprehensive and detailed study inorder to promote the engineering applications of hybrid structure system.Based on the Nujiang bridge project in six libraries of Yunnan province and latestresearch achievement, this article studied the transfer mechanism and the mechanicalbehavior of the steel–concrete hybrid girder, which was a part of the single towercable-stayed bridge with single cable plane, under composite force of compression,bending and torsion. Its main contents were listed as follows:1. The finite element model of six library Nujiang Bridge full-bridge spacemodeling was established by using the MIADS finite element analysis software.Deformation and internal force characteristics of the single tower with singlecable plane hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge was analyzed, and the internalforce analysis of the steel-concrete hybrid section was carried.2. On the background of the six libraries Nujiang Bridge project,1:3model of theNujiang River Bridge’s steel-concrete hybrid girder was design. This articledescribed model test program of design principles, test method and the loading device in detail.3. Meanwhile, the steel-concrete hybrid girder’s finite element model wasestablished using ANSYS finite element software. This article brieflyintroduced several ways of simplification and analog methods in the modelingprocess. With detailed analysis of the finite element model, the transfermechanism, mechanical performance and structural characteristics of thesteel-concrete hybrid section was systemically studied, while the new kind ofsegment perfusion material using in the hybrid part was also developed.4. Finally, on the basis of the finite element simulation analysis and pastresearch’s achievements, design principles of the hybrid girder and otherdetailed structure of cable-stayed bridge were specifically discussed. Thatprovides reasonable reference and basis for design and construction of thesteel-concrete hybrid part of bridge engineering.
