In the background of the country to promote energy-saving and emission reduction, Renewable energy generation plays an active role in environmental protection and economic growth. Because of its economy and sustainability, solar and wind power system has been more and more widely applied. For the remote areas and islands with rich natural resources, renewable energy micro-grid with wind energy and solar energy can provides an effective solution to solve the problem of local electricity.On the basis of reading relevant books and literatures at home and abroad. Some research has been finished on energy management system of independent new energy micro-grid, the specific contents include:This paper firstly describes the structure of a typical independent new energy power generation system configuration, and the structure has been explained. An independent micro-grid based on wind-solar-diesel-battery has been designed. Energy management system can manage and control the micro-grid to ensure system stability and efficient operation.Secondly introduce the principles and operating characteristics of wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation. Batteries belong to consumable parts in the power generation system. Thus analyzes the working principle and the factors affecting the service life of battery. According to the physical characteristics of the various components of the micro-grid, the corresponding mathematical model has been built.Energy dispatch strategy is one of the important function in energy management system. After finishing the optimal design of micro-grid system capacity, Energy dispatch strategy determines the efficiency of the micro-grid operation and have an important impact on battery life. This paper presents an optimal economic operation strategy to ensure that the economic operation of the micro-grid.Finally, according to dongao island micro-grid, software and hardware design of the monitoring system has been given. The hardware design use an approach that combines decentralized supervisory control with centralized monitoring. Wireless sensor network is used to solve some area wiring dirriculty态reduce the labor force and material resources. Developed monitor interface real-time display the operating conditions of the micro-grid, some important information will be provided by the form of offering the supervisory staff chart to protect the stability of the micro-grid operation.
