Breath Sounds sometimes called lung sounds, it not only display the feature of sound’ssource, but also can reflect the some acoustic feature of some medium,such as lung, tracheaand thorax. By detecting the breath sounds, we can diagnose some disease of respire systemcorrectly and efficiently. The usual tool of detecting breathe sounds is traditional stethoscope.This tool has long history and mature diagnostic., so the scope of using is very popular. But italso has some disadvantage, for example some doctors diagnose disease usually by theirexperiments, different doctors whose capable are not same have different result of diagnostic.This situation has bad effect for patient’s treatment. At same time some very feeble signalscouldn’t be found by doctors, the result conduce to ignore some very important detail fordiagnosing. Certainly it’s not good for patient too. If stethoscope used advancedtechnique of electrician to detect and analysis the date of patient’s breath sounds, thediagnostic’s level of our country would become more and more advanced. This thesis is justfrom this imaging to design a intelligent instrument of breath sounds detector.This thesis described the design of breath sounds detector from follow items:(1) At first the thesis elaborated feature and theory of breath sounds and Compare withtraditional stethoscope.(2) The mission of design and some parameter of technique was clear. Analyzing theseacquire it demonstrate system frame of design and explained it.(3) Hardware design of this system: choosing the breath sensor; signal adjustment circuit;speaker circuit design; date gather circuit; design of CPLD; describe the microchipS3C44B0X, include of features and chart of inter structure; design of USB circuit; designof LCD display circuit; simply describe of communication circuit, because this design justreserved for future, so the explaining is very simply.(4) Design of software. Include design of mission and flow chart and introduce the thought ofwhole design.(5) How to debug the system of breath sounds detector. Any problem of hardware andsoftware were explained, at same time summarized the question and solved.At the end of this thesis illustrate some shortcoming of design, for example someinterference have not been clear and display menu are not rich. But to some extents we havegot many achievement, such as sensor’s circuit is gone, amplify circuit are working well,gather circuit are working well too, LCD display well, low power and portable design. At last,showing the image and direction of future. On the addenda there are blueprint for thisdesign and the picture of circuit board.
