With the development of life and economic level in recent years, more and more people have their own private cars, drunken driving phenomenon also appears the increasing trend. Breath alcohol tester can help detect the alcohol content of drivers’ alveolar gas, and we can obtain the blood alcohol level in the body according to the specification of national standard GA307. This makes it more feasible that traffic police can detect drivers at random. Then the sensitivity and stability of the breath alcohol tester have been proposed higher requirements.Authorized by Tianjin Shengwei Technology Corporation and the needs of enterprise development, this topic develops a kind of high sensitive and reliable alcohol detector. The cost of the device is low. In the design, STM32F407 ZG chip with high performance and low power consumption is adopted. ME3-C2H5 OH sensor with high sensitivity and good anti-interference are used. The thesis is focused on designing and analysis alcohol detection system. It includes signal processing circuit and the temperature monitoring system of ME3-C2H5 OH sensor in order to temperature compensation; μC/GUI is used to design the user management interface of the operating system. μC/OS-II creates multiple tasks, including the system main task, the μC/GUI interface task, the touch screen task, the ADC sampling task. μC/OS-II satisfies the real time and reliability of the equipment.In order to further verify the designed system, a series of comparative experiments are done. Many alcohol tests are done in different alcohol concentrations and different temperatures, then the data is analyzed. The experimental results show that the device meets the requirements of repetitive detection and error value. In addition, the thesis research improves the precision and the response time of alcohol detection. The equipment can detect alcohol conveniently. It can help control drinking drive. Therefore, the study of subject has a certain social and economic benefits.
