After the Wen Chuan earthquake, how to ensure that the structure havea good integrity and will not have a better chance to collapse underincidental loads or sudden collapse in order to protect people’s lives andproperty, is an urgent problem. Numerical simulation of the structure usingfinite element method can easily and quickly analyze the structure’sintegrity under incidental loads such as earthquake loads. In this paper, alarge commercial general-purpose finite element software ANSYS is used,to simulate the behavior of the reinforced concrete frame structure, considering the weakening of existing structural members, the location ofstairs, the impact of floors and walls, to analyze the time-based dynamicresponse of existing structures, the stress redistribution process and theconditions and process of structural cracking under seismic loads, so as toprovide method and basis for studying the integrity of existing structures.Firstly, created8models of structures in ANSYS, they are the originalstructure, weakening of the external component by5%, weakening of theinternal components by3%, weakening external by5%and internal by3%,changing location of the stairs, increasing the thickness of plate by20mm,increasing the thickness of plate by50mm, considering the external walls;Secondly, analyzed the8models under WenChuan wave and Tianjin waveby time-history method; thirdly, studying of structural dynamic response of the displacement, stress redistribution process and cracks of concrete werecarried out to analyze structural integrity under earthquake loads. Theresults show that the weakening of components reduces the structuralintegrity, increases the role of the stairs; a reasonable increasing ofthickness of plate makes the plate, beam and column composed a spacesystem which is conducive to structural integrity, but if increases too much,it will reduce the structural integrity; reasonable location of stairs andconsidering fill wall can greatly improve the structural integrity.
