It is based on introducing the developing of the building reinforcement, the usual methods of reinforcement and the technology of the reinforcement method of pasting CFS, combining domestic and foreign building codes, respectively, by using the two methods of the Coordinated torque plastic calculation method and Zero stiffness design method to calculate the combined action of bending-shear-torsion which the side beams subjected to, and to study the mechanical properties of the floor-opened side beams.Concrete constitutive equation, various criterion of strength, concrete reinforcement with CFS, and the constitutive relations of the three kinds of materials:rebar, concrete and the CFS are discussed.The proper constitutive relation, failure mode and the finite element numerical simulation method are chosen to research the calculation method of CFS reinforced side beams.Considering the various factors affected on reinforcement of pasting CFS, and combining with the more successful engineering reinforcement practice of CFS strengthening reinforced concrete beam with load resistance bending moment and shear effect, how the stress of the torsion influence on the beam and the corresponding reinforcement method are drawn.
