Cracks and other damage would be observed on reinforced concrete bridge after a long time usage, resulting in lacking carrying capacity. When existing concrete bridge was reinforced and reconstructed,it would restore and even enhance its capacity, and prolong its lite.This paper analyzed the shear strength factors of reinforced concrete girders and steel,carbon fiber reinforced girders. By conducting static load test of the contrastive girders,pasting steel plate girder and CFRP girder,the shear stress characteristics of different materials used in reinforced girders were researched,and the improvements of shear capacity of pasting steel plate and CFRP were obtained in the test,and the rigidity improvement of reinforced concrete girder was also recorded. At last,simplified formula of fully side-pasting reinforcement material on concrete girder was derived.According to the constitutive relation of concrete,finite element simulation of three groups of girder was conducted by finite element software. It indicated that deflection and stress calculation results were basically consistent with the experiment values,and verified the reliability of the tests.A comprehensive comparison and analysis of the mechanical properties,economy and construction process was conducted between pasting different materials based on the actual concrete bridge reinforcement project. The applicability and superiority of two reinforcement methods are elaborated respectively. At last, there liability of pasting steel plate reinforcement,method in practical application was verified by calculating the design of actual reinforcement project and bridge load test.Results of this study of shear reinforcement of concrete bridges have certain theoretical significance and practical value.
