The size of the tolerance has a very important affect on the assembly and the cost of theproducts. In order to forecast the assembly level of the AP1000steam generator which isimportant equipment in the nuclear power station, this paper has given some methods aboutestimating the assembly and tolerance optimal allocation and then test them with experiment.First of all, we briefly describe the heat transfer tube assembly process about the AP1000steam generator and then analysis the factors which will have an effect on the tube assembling.We make a deep research about the tolerance theory and method, then, basing on it, putforward a mathematical model which is suitable for analyzing the AP1000steam generatortube assembling and an algorithm Monte Carlo simulation which is used to analysis thetolerance and estimate the final success rate about the tube assembling.And then we put forward the specific method to make analysis about the assemblingtolerance with the Monte Carlo simulation and estimate the assembling success rate. In orderto build the model, we set the factors which can have an effect on the tube assembling as thevariable, set the success rate as the constraint, set the total cost about the products as theobjective function and then use the intelligent optimization algorithm-Monte Carlo simulationto solve the optimal allocation of the steam generator tolerance and then get the optimizationsolution.At last, in order to apply the algorithm convenient, this paper, using the related softwaredevelopment tools, develops two applications about the AP1000steam generator:“Theassembling pre-assessment system about the AP1000steam generator” and “the system ofoptimization allocation about the AP1000steam generator assembling tolerance”. Simulationresults show that two applications can both get the stable and satisfying result quickly andaccurately.
