With the vigorous development of the construction industry, building of simplerules form has been unable to meet the demands of the people.There are manyirregular structure buildings of different shape for the demands of the buildingfunction. Reverse irregular structure building will have a strong torsional vibration inthe earthquake, and have a serious influence on the performance of safety andapplication of the structure. The theoretical analysis and test and application showsthat isolation technology can not only effectively reduce the structure’s parallel effect,still can obviously reduce the reverse effect.The main content of the design ofisolation structure, including two aspects of the size and distribution of isolation layerstiffness and damping. At present, the research on the size and distribution of thestiffness and damping of isolation layer has got some research results, but relativelylittle research on the size and distribution of damping, and are not perfect.In this paper, based on the one-way eccentric simplified model oflateral-torsional coupling isolated structure,had a further refine on the motionequations of seismic response,and proposed the related dynamic parameters of thedynamic performance and dynamic response of the structure, especially consideringthe damping parameters of the isolation layer, such as the damping ratio, dampingeccentricity damping radius. By exploring the influence of damping and relateddynamic parameters to the seismic response of one-way eccentric of lateral-torsionalcoupling isolated structure,got the relationship curves and changes law. Use ofrelevant data of the experiment that the group have done, analysis the isolation effectunder different damping distribution of the isolation layer, while have a relatedverification on the conclusions.Finally, two typical irregular plane layout of T and L shape of the buildingstructure were simulated and analyzed by using the large general-purpose finiteelement software ETABS. First,a isolation design of T shape building structure inapproximate one-way eccentric by using the conclusion previously derived from theisolation design of the one-way eccentric structure was made, a better isolation effectwas obtained,while demonstrated the conclusions of the previous were correctnessand effectiveness.second,a isolation design of L shape building structure in two-wayeccentric by using the conclusion previously derived from the isolation design of theone-way eccentric structure was made, and a better isolation effect was alsoobtained.It provided a basis for the isolation design of building structure in two-way eccentric through the research on the isolation design of building structure in one-wayeccentric.
