Rock slope is a common problem of geotechnical engineering problem,due tothe serious consequences of disasters caused by slope failure,a lot of domestic andinternational experts and scholars highly concentrate their attention on researchwork in slope protection and reinforcement. Nowadays slope supportingtechnologies are developing more rapidly,but many support theories are not verymature,which results in the phenomenon of the development of the theory lagsbehind the development of the technology.The immature theory leads to the resultthat the supporting design of slope is relatively conservative. In the aspects ofeconomy,convenience and safety, designers are often pay attention to safetyfactor.In order to ensure the safety coefficient of the project, in some casesdesigners have to lower the degree of consideration of others. The purpose of theslope optimum design is to ensure that in the premise of the slope has a enoughsafety coefficient,more consideration of economy and convenience have beenmade,and make the relationship between those more coordinate.This paper is based on practical case of the Guangdong (CTS) south west banktourism industrial park slope supporting project of five-star hotel. This projectadopts the scheme of anchor and shotcrete support (net-suspended spray concreteand anchor bolt and prestressed anchor cable and waist beams)the author uses thefinite element analysis software Midas GTS to analyze the slope stability coefficientbetween before and after supportion,and compares the difference of stabilitycoefficient in two cases. The author collected the slope survey and design materials,and observed the scene of the slope in practice, and finally discovered the slopesupport scheme is relatively conservative. so optimum design is desirable. In thispaper,only part of anchor bolt is optimized,and the optimum method uses themethod of orthogonal test design. Through the analysis of test results, it is concludedthat the relative optimization of the combination of the form of the anchor boltlength,the anchor bolt angle and the vertical distance has been chose. The optimum design has improved the degree of aspects in safety and in economy andconvenience.
