As an important type of building, residential building is very close to people’s daily life, rest and entertainment. It is an important place for people to eliminate the physical and mental fatigue after intense work. It is the largest proportion of building types in the city construction. So it is essential to energy conservation. Residential building energy efficiency has been achieved significant results in Hefei. But it is not going well for a large number of high energy-consumption existing in residential building energy-saving.Firstly, the article has an in-depth investigation and analysis with existing building energy saving in Hefei. Secondly, the author summarizes the existing residential building energy-saving technology and transformation method. Thirdly, through the case study, we chose two representative residential units in Hefei and field-tests their indoor thermal comfort parameters. We objective evaluate residential indoor thermal environment situation in Hefei. We make a comparative analysis of data that tested by instrument objectively and quantitatively. And we make an energy consumption simulation and economic analysis with an existing residential. Then we summarize the problems of existing residential indoor thermal environment and modification method in Hefei. At last we discuss development trends of residential energy-saving and propose some new modification technology of residential energy-saving in Hefei. And we put forward relevant proposals and ideas of residential energy-saving.
