PCMM (Portable Coordinate Measuring Machine) has broad application prospect as aportable coordinate measurement system. It has the advantages of wide measurement rangeand flexible based on the characteristics of the mechanical structure. Calibration technologyis the main method of improving the measurement accuracy. And sampling strategy all hascertain of random in the measuring machine parameters calibration method. In order to getthe actual measurement space error, the research for the calibration sampling strategy isnecessary. The main work of this paper includes:1) Research the sample number of the parameters calibration for PCMM. Ensure theerror is constant, repeat the simulation for parameters calibration as a mode that increasethe sampling frequencies every simulation. Then the results show that the maxmeasurement error and the standard deviation will tend to be stable when the samples reach200times.2) Research the relationship between the identification of parameters and the conditionnumbers of Jacobin Matrix. In practical increase the values of each joint Angle will reducethe condition numbers of Jacobin Matrix, and the parameter identification will be moreaccurate.3) Research the influencing weight of the joint parameters on identification resultsbetween the six joint. A practical sampling method is given though the results of thesimulation experiment: in ensuring each joint value range are uniform distribution and bigenough, increase the information collection of the first and the second joint.4) Consider from the standard amount of body structure and the sample pointdistribution of the standard bar with cone hole on the two sides and gage block, optimizedsampling strategies were given.
