Plinth of concrete facing dam is an impervious structure connecting the preceding and thefollowing. Its major function is to create a complete impervious system by connecting face slaband impervious body in dam foundation, and to act as weights and working platform duringdam foundation grouting in up stream. In practical projects, foundation in toe slab is not so ideal.Unfavorable geological structures like fault, intercalation and fracture zone are common.Besides, because of the small thickness of plinth of concrete facing dam, when grouting isoperated in plinth of concrete facing dam, uplifting deformation is likely to happen. If thedeformation is too large, the overall impermeability of the plinth of concrete facing dam will beinfluenced, which will lead to dam body instability As the uplifting of plinth of concrete facingdam is caused by that of the rock mass, and rock mass uplifting is caused by grouting pressureand grouting volume, the influence of grouting pressure on rock mass uplifting deformation ismainly researched. Research will be done in aspects like grouting theory, simulation of rockmass joint, simulation of rock grouting, etc.Zipingpu plinth of concrete facing dam is taken as the research object. Illustration onconstruction technology of plinth of concrete facing dam and terrane uplifting mechanism ismade, and the influence of grouting pressure on structure uplifting deformation is shown byconcern of curve. Three-dimensional density of rock mass is decided by measuring surfacecrack of the rock mass. Poisson model is adopted to illustrate crack distribution in rock massand inverse modeling is adopted to imitate three-dimensional crack in rock mass. Once rockcrack distribution is decided, disk model is adopted to imitate grouting rock mass. Hypothesis ismade for grouting model and Ansys is used to do analog computation of single-hole groutingand dual-hole grouting in rock mass. The influence of single-hole grouting and dual-holegrouting under the same condition on foundation uplifting is analyzed and compared. Aconcern of curve showing the influence of grouting pressure (0.2MPa to1MPa) on foundationuplifting is given, the relationship of this function: with the increase of grouting pressure, theholes grouting on surface lift, where the geological conditions are not good, you should use thesingle-hole successive grouting to prevent to ethe board is too large to lift.Research methodsused in this paper have instructive significance for later research on the plinth of concrete facingdam uplifting and uplifting control.
