The ship requires good control performance in order to voyage or dock safety. Shipsteering gear device is important device to guarantee the safety of the ship sailing.As thepower steering system of ship, the hydraulic rudder is the ship’s important constituent. Withthe development of the hydraulic technology to high speed, high pressure and high power,rotary vane steering gear has been applied in many ships with its unique advantages. Thevibration and noise of the hydraulic rudder which causes by pressure impact of the hydraulicpipeline is also becoming more and more serious, the vibration and noise already became theimportant factor which restrict further development of the hydraulic rudder.Therefore,research on the analysis of the pipeline’s dynamic characteristics and pressure impact andreduction of the hydraulic rudder system’s vibration and noise has a positive and profoundinfluence for improving the system’s performance and promoting the application of hydraulicrudder.The ship’s rudder device performance of high or low will seriously affect the correctships safe voyage, if the steering gear occurred misfortune, there may be a accidents of theship at sea. Taking the valve control type rotary vane steering gear as research object, thispaper carries on the mathematic model of the system, the pipeline’s dynamic characteristicsand pressure impact, and the interference impact of pipeline is considered. On the basis of thereferences, it studied the performance and the influence of the rotary vane steering gear by theunderwater shock.In this paper, the present development situation of turn vane steering gear in or out homeand the present research situation of underwater impact are summarized, and based on thisfirstly the paper analysis the composition of the steering gear system and working principle,the transfer function models of actuating unit and rotary vane steering gear are built. At thesame time,the nonlinear simulation model of the steering gear is set up by AMESim software.Based on the Z-N setting algorithm, the parameters of the controller are determined, and thedynamic characteristics of the rotary vane steering gear are analyzed.Secondly, through the analysis of the pipeline’s dynamic characteristics, the distributedparameter model of pipeline system is determined. Therefore, the pressure shock is simulated.The methods of slow start and optimization controller are used to reduce the pressure impactof the hydraulic system.Thirdly, the formation and characteristics of the interference shock wave are studied and analyzed. Sums up the impact process is a attenuation process, meet index attenuationformulas And the impact load is confirmed according to the experience formula. Theinterference in the impact nearly axis place and far axis place turn around the pressure insidethe oil cylinder fluctuations and analyses the impact the hydraulic pipe under the pressureinside the fluctuations. Research on the simulation of the pipeline pressure fluctuations underthe impact of outside interference. It can reduce the influence of steering gear effectively afterincreases the tube bending.
