The research work is financed by the natural science fund No. S2011040004020in Guangdong, titled by “Research on damping theory and technology of ancientarchitecture(archaeological sites) induced by vibration of rail transit”,as well asrelying on the project of acient coconut shell mound site which was near toGuangming Expressway.Meanwhile, with the protection of GuangDong province tothe site and the needs of building exhibition, the influence of environmental vibrationon archaeological site induced by highway and research on barrier isolation have beendiscussed in this thesis.The propagation laws of environmental vibration wereobtained, the parameter selection of barrier isolation was given. In order to providetechnology support for our cultural relics protection department, the range ofpreliminary technical parameters were summarized.Field measurement and numerical simulation are adopted in this paper. The maincontents studied in this thesis are as follows:1、According to the theory of wave propagation in an elastic half-space, the wavepropagation in soil and the theory of barrier isolation are discussed.2、The Guangming Expressway was opened recently and have less trafic, HuananExpressway(segment of TuHua) was chose as substitute for measurement.Thepropagation and attenuation characteristics of environment vibration induced byhighway were analysised. It is found that the amplitude of vibration would decreasewith the increase of the distance between the driving line and measuring point,thevibration level at vertical is better than horizontal, vibration at vertical to expresswayis greater than which is paralled to.The domain of frequency for vibration are below40Hz. The attenuation of high-frequency vibration is faster than the low frequecy,andthe influence of low frequency is more than high frequency at far field.3、The experiment of vibration isolation effect of drain has been carried out. It isfound that vibration isolation effect is obvious.4、In ANSYS, vibration wave propagation and attenuation in soil induced byhighway have been analysised, and the influence of some key parameters on barrierhas been studied. As a result, as long as both the length and depth of model reached1-1.5times of the interested wavelength, the calculation accuracy would meet requirements.For barrier at far field, flexible material is better than that of rigidmaterials for in-filled trench barrier.
