Filled frame structure is a common structure, with good economical efficiencyand applicability. In the Wenchuan earthquake, the filled frame structure suffereddamage in various degrees. The survey after the earthquake showed that the damageto the major structure of most frame construction is generally light due to thereasonable configuration of the infilled walls and the strengthened seismic capacity. However, the major structure of some frame construction suffered heavy damage oreven collapse because of uneven layout of the infilled walls. The base isolatedtechnology is a relatively mature and stable damping control measures. It has beenapproved by the engineering experts, and is widely used in engineering projects.Currently, the isolated system of RC frame in design and analysis treats the infilledwall as a non-structural component, not fully taking into account the infilled walls’impact on the isolated system. Based on the finite element model of the infilled frameisolated system, this thesis examines the influence of the infilled walls on the isolatedsystem of RC frame; the focusing points are as follows:First, through the comparison of various nonlinear analysis soft-wares, themacro-unit-based non-linear program of the Perform-3D is selected, and its mainfeatures are described. There is also detailed introduction to the mechanicalconstitutive model of concrete, reinforced materials, as well as the calculation of thecomponent’s constitutive model on the basis of material constitutive. The validity ofthe model is verified through the realization of the isolated structure model of thenonlinear RC frame in the Perform-3D program, and the comparison of its modalanalysis with that of ETABS and PKPM.Second, the dynamic time history analysis of the built nonlinear isolated structuremodel is conducted under fortification intensity and severe earthquakes. The influenceof nonlinearity on the seismic force reaction of the structural level and componentlevel on force response of the isolated system of RC frame is studied, and differencesbetween consideration of elastic-plastic analysis and that of perfect elasticity analysisof the superstructure are analyzed, leading to the result that consideration of theelastic-plastic analysis of the superstructure can better reflect the real seismicresponse properties of the structure. Finally, On the basis of the above analysis of the isolated system and the dynamic characteristics of the isolated system, infilled walls element types which are moresuitable for the isolated system are chosen. Besides, the influence of the infilled walls’layout on the dynamic characteristics of the isolated structure system is taken intoconsideration, and a comparison of seismic response analysis of the correspondingisolated structure model is made, so that the influence rules of the layout of theinfilled walls on the seismic response of RC frame isolated system is obtained.
