Due to its simplicity of construction and good flexibility in architectural planning,reinforced concrete frame structure occupy a big proportion in the existing buildings.However,in the Wenchuan earthquake,there is a phenomenon of yield destruction in a large number of RC frames,Especially in the extreme earthquake area,The main veranda style frame structure of school buildings even to interlayer collapsed,caused a large number of deaths and injuries.As a kind of non-structural element,the infilled wall increases the stiffness of the main structure,but the ductility of the structure is reduced.In the face of situation,scholars have proposed a new type of rocking infilled wall frame structure system,which can control the deformation of floor and and avoid forming deformation concentration.In this paper,it is expected that the whole structure will have a better seismic performance after adding the rocking infilled wall to the frame structure with external corridor.Therefore,in a five storey frame structure with external corridor of school as an example,through numerical simulation research with SAP2000 finite element software.Firstly,adapting the Pushover analysis,contrasted with the rocking infilled wall frame structure and common frame structure model,verified the feasibility to realize the rocking infilled wall.Then,adapting dynamic time history analysis to further study the characteristics of the rocking under different earthquake intensity.The analysis results show that: after the veranda style frame with swing system,when the seismic action is small,there is no difference between the infilled infilled frame structure and the common infilled wall frame structure,as the earthquake becomes more and more large,the wall first swings,then the whole structure swings.The structure of swing coordinates the deformation of each floor,and makes the interlaminar fracture mode of the frame become a whole failure and effectively improves the performance of the ductility of the structure.Under the same earthquake,the rocking filled wall plays a more important role than the common infilled wall,it bears a great deal of shear,thereby reducing the shear of frame bearing.The structural sway increases the rigid body displacement of the structure,and reduces the elastic-plastic displacement of the structure.Thus,the seismic performance of thestructure can be improved.
