The energy issue is a hot issue which has been a concern. As a renewable clean energy, solar energy is known in the21century, the most promising energy. The water HEATING system is the most mature solar technology in building applications, so making full use of solar water heating systems has been a necessary which means to reduce building energy consumption.There are abundant solar energy resources in China. Most parts can be provided with solar energy, the Hefei area possesses certain favorable conditions in the different aspects including the geographical location, economic, social, science and technology. In Hefei residential buildings, using of solar energy has been a trend as a new idea, which will become the future focus in Hefei residential construction.This paper describes the significance of the use of solar water heaters to solve our living water. By surveying some residential districts in Hefei, It analysed that it existed some problems in solar water heating systems and proposed some design methods concerning how to match low. multilayer and high-rise residential buildings with solar water heating systems. Based on this.It puts forward some opinions and solving measures. Finally. It analyses that it causes influence of residential buildings which solar energy collectors and light panels in different position through the models. And then It will forecast solar technology and its development prospects.
