Transformer in power system in operation has played a very important role, we requirements more stringent for flexibility and reliability for transformer. This paper introduces a kind of transformer protection device designing method based on DSP+ARM dual CPU. The device takes the LPC2468and the TMS320F2812as the core of the system. This paper introduces in detail the structure of the double CPU and mutual communication process. The article analyzes each module in the hardware structure and principle, and gives the principle diagram of the modules. Software embedded operating system is introduced.The article gives the various part of the diagram.This paper makes a detailed analysis and comparison of various protection and the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm. This paper has a detailed analysis on the belt brake characteristics of the ratio of the criterion of the differential protection. The article gives the criterion of logic diagram and equations.Finally, this paper introduces the design of the device anti-interference, analyzes the hardware and software anti-interference measures and methods of the device self-inspection.
