The specialshape verifies statistics, such as arch axis and stress. It decides specific constructionprocedure accordingly.This article discusses means to mold proper structures. In the case of HefeiXinqiao International Airport, the special-shaped bridge is examined from perspectiveof MIDAS finite model. It turns out ideal parameters of all components including archrib, hanger rod, main girder, cross member and bridge floor system. Therefore itsuggests stiffness of arch ribs and tensioning sequence of the working hanger suitablefor construction. |
