Pure electric vehicle uses storage battery as the only energy, so it has theadvantages of high efficiency and low noise characteristics. To solve the energyshortage and environmental pollution problem brought by the traditional car, it hasvery important significance. Automatic transmission could improve intelligent,safety and driving comfort of vehicle, but at present the development of pureelectric vehicles generally do not have automatic transmission, which greatlyinfluences the vehicle running mileage. While shift schedule is the key of pureelectric vehicle automatic transmission control function, it will directly affect thepower performance, economy, passing ability and adapt ability of vehicle to theenvironment.Pure electric vehicles mainly work in the urban road conditions because of themileage limiting. While the urban road traffic is more crowded; the vehicleaverage speed is low and has a high proportion of automobile idling; vehicle shiftfrequency, thus pure electric vehicles need to have stronger adaptability to theurban road conditions.According to the requirements of road conditions in Chinese cities and in caseof parameters of electric vehicle and design requirements of power system were set,the article proposed a design method of shift schedule for pure electric vehiclesautomatic transmission, considering the vehicle power performance and economyperformance. It works out fuzzy shift schedule considering both power andeconomic performance in order to achieve the improvement of pure electricautomobile automatic transmission performance and the efficiency of driving motor.At the same time, this paper gives an example of practical application combinedwith our practical development work and undertook emulation on the vehicle powerperformance and economy performance through the MATLAB/SIMULINK/ADVISOR software. The simulation results show that the proposed method canmeet the power demand and economic requirements.The study of this paper provides a theoretical basis for the follow-up study andvehicle application of pure electric vehicle automatic transmission shift schedule based on urban road conditions.
