Most of the intangible cultural heritage was created by people in their daily leisure.Because of the increasingly acceleration of the construction of the modern city, theintangible cultural heritage is confronted with the impact of the modern culture. Lotsof intangible heritage can’t be integrated into the modern lifestyle of the people andthe public recreational space which had been depended by them is not suitable fortheir development. Currently, most of the form of the protection and development ofChinese intangible heritage is carried out in perform and tourism. Most of the peopleaccept the intangible cultural heritage passively, rather than apply them in the lifeinitiatively. The comprehensive urban parks, which aren’t integrated with intangiblecultural heritage in a long time, have existed for only100years as a type of urbanpublic space for leisure. However, the protection and development of intangiblecultural heritage in modern society should return to the people public recreation spacein modern society. Therefore, this article attempts to implant the intangible culturalheritage to the comprehensive urban parks, exploring the mode of renovation designof comprehensive parks based on the concept of the inheritance and development ofthe intangible cultural heritage, and aiming to the protection of the intangible culturalheritage life-oriented.The problems of protection and development of intangible cultural heritage includethat the less experience in participation, the poor inheritance and learning, thedifficult in innovation and development. The cause of them include that thetransformation of social values, the invasion of popular culture, the changes oflifestyle, the impact of historical events, the changes of space vector. Comprehensiveurban park can play important roles in the protection and development of intangiblecultural heritage: promoting the intangible cultural heritage to develop in our lives,spatial pooling, expanding the audience, promoting the communication in leisure time.The paper study the renovation design of comprehensive parks on the instance ofWest Lake Park of Quanzhou based on the intangible cultural heritage. At first, itanalyzes the advantages of the application of intangible cultural heritage of Quanzhouto West Lake Park, the concept and principles of design. Based on Intangible CulturalHeritage in Quanzhou survey analysis, the paper studies the overall layout andrenovation design of the West Lake Park, concludes a mode of the renovation designof urban park based on the inheritance and development of the regional intangiblecultural heritage in our lives.The paper quantifies the evaluation of the public for the intangible cultural heritagefeatures through applying the SD method. Then, on the basis of that, it extracts the main features of the heritage using factor analysis. At last, it carries out the specificrenovation design combined with the structured questionnaire part of the investigation.It enriches the concept of the development of intangible cultural heritage and spacevector. What’s more, it’s helpful to make programs of renovation design ofcomprehensive parks based on the protection and development of the intangiblecultural heritage scientific.
