| With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the Chinese civil aviationindustry also realizes the fast development. This makes the aircraft maintenance taskamount increase sharply, and the aircraft repair quality and efficiency is directlyrelated to the civil aviation enterprises’ operation and development, related to thesafety of passengers. But the huge aircraft repair workload conflicts with lack ofexperts in this field. The purpose of Boeing737NG thrust reverser fault diagnosisexpert system is to solve this contradiction.This paper is based on the expert system theory. Knowledge database andinference engine are the core part of an Expert System. At first this paper analyzedBoeing737NG thrust reverser system principle, then got the fault tree of the systemaccording to fault tree theory, at last transfered the fault tree into production rules asthe knowledge database of expert system. In addition this paper used a reasoningmethod based on priority coefficient as the inference engine of expert system. Prioritycoefficient is related with the component failure probability and time consumption oftesting the component.On the basis of theoretical research, this paper developed Boeing737NG faultdiagnosis expert system using Java language in Eclipse platform. According to the testresult, the system can complete the Boeing737NG aircraft thrust reverser system faultdiagnosis, and is rapid and effective compared with the traditional methods.The system is a prototype. In the future we can develop the fault diagnosis systemfor other systems of Boeing737NG, or other types of aircraft. This will greatlyimprove the efficiency of aircraft maintenance. |
