With the social development, electric bicycles have widely welcomed by the people becauseof its lightweight and quick, no pollution. But electric bike has a short mileage, low energydensity of batteries, motors easy demagnetization, complex controller shortcomings limit thefurther development of electric bicycles. Switched reluctance motor (Switched Reluctance Motor,SRM) due to its simple structure, low cost, excellent in speed performance, suitable for frequentstarts and stops can be four-quadrant operation is ideal for applications in the electric bicycle.But because of the nonlinearity of the SR motor result in noise and torque fluctuations.To solve this problem, this paper is mainly from its control strategy up research to reducenoise and torque ripple. First, analysis of the SR motor working principle and the establishmentof a motor mathematical model. Then, by analyzing the SR motor frequently used controlstrategy, combined with the electric bike features establish voltage the PWM+angular positioncontrol (APC) control strategy. To utilize SR motor nonlinear model of the matlab/simulik toestablish electric bicycle system model simulation and optimization. Finally, as the PICmicrocontroller as the core, develop the hardware and software of the SR motor.
