Contactors are electrical appliances which are widely used. To optimize the products canimprove the efficiency of contactors and reduce the materials and the cost of contactors,whichplays an important role in the theory significance and has the practical value.A new artificial fish swarm algorithm with adaptive abilities and improved behaviors isapplied to the static optimal design of electromagnetic system of the AC contactor to reduce thematerials and the cost of the product. The adaptivity of algorithm is mainly manifested in theautomatic correction of artificial fish swarm algorithm parameter. Improved act shows that theartificial fish behaviors of artificial fish swarm algorithm are primarily optimized.This algorithmuses rapid convergence and good global optimization ability of the artificial fish swarmalgorithm to solve the optimal solution domain. Then the unique strong adaptive ability andexcellent artificial fish behavior of this algorithm which is greatly improving the calculationspeed and precision to obtain the optimal solution is used. Then in this paper, the AC contactorelectromagnetic system static optimization design mathematical model is introduced and thestatic constraint condition is solved. AC contactor electromagnetic system static optimizationcalculation program is developed. Finally, this algorithm is successfully applied to the staticoptimization design.Considering the dynamic optimal design and static optimal design advantages anddisadvantages, the way that static optimization design is based on the study of dynamicsimulation is brought forward.This means that the static optimization design to obtain severalgroups of satisfactory optimization size is chosen and the research of dynamic simulation isdone.In order to satisfy the static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the premise at thesame time, an optimal solution is chosen. The results of the static optimization show that theimproved static optimization electromagnetic system of the AC contactor saves the materialseffectively and reduces the cost of product on the premise of ensuring product quality.
