Study On Key Technical Parameters Of SBS Modified Asphalt And Test Method

SBS modified asphalt with its excellent high and low temperature performance anddurability is widely used in road, bridge deck pavement, airport runway construction. Thefurther research according to the modification mechanism, influencing factors andevaluation standard of SBS modified asphalt is particularly important.This paper researches on the influence of raw material to SBS modified asphalttechnological property, according to measure the technical index of different raw materialasphalt sample. Fluorescence microscope showed the SBS distribution during asphaltsample modified process; Through the analysis of the different microstructure of SBSmodified asphalt to evaluate the compatibility of SBS modified asphalt.Directly apply the matrix asphalt to evaluate SBS modified asphalt lead to a lot ofproblems, for example, the evaluation index of different SBS modified asphalt are close, butthe actual pavement performance is different, the evaluation index are difficult todistinguish the technical property of SBS modified asphalt. This paper mainly studies on theresult variation of the penetration degree, softening point, adhesiveness test in different testconditions, through testing of different types of asphalt, types of SBS, the dose of SBS andthe dose of compatibilizer. Modified asphalt test condition of the penetration degree,softening point, adhesiveness test, in order to suitable for the evaluation of SBS modifiedasphalt, to solve the problem of SBS modified asphalt directly applied the matrix asphaltevaluation index.This paper using Brookfield viscometer to analysis the viscosity variation of time,temperature, rotational speed, study on rheological characteristics of SBS modified asphalt,and put forward the viscosity-rheological parameters to evaluate the SBS modified asphalttechnical property.The dose of SBS has important implication on SBS modified asphalt technical property,this paper uses the high performance liquid chromatography to detect the dose of SBS. Monitor SBS modified asphalt production process by controlling the dose of SBS, to ensurethe construction quality.
