Star shape SBS modified bitumen modification work better than a linear SBS modified asphalt; In SBS modified asphalt, increases in the SBS doses can increase modified asphalt technology index significantly. In the process of increasing SBS dose, SBS modified asphalt index at first increase significantly and then gradually easing.Additives is the important parameters affecting the SBS modified bitumen index. Different additives, different dosage of SBS will affect its perforance significantly. Appropriate additives and its dosage should be choosen according to practical engineering.In order to control the quality of the SBS modified asphalt and to prevent the segregation caused by improper modification process and insufficient dose, SBS dose needle into degree testing techniques has been invented,and that was derived from SBS modified asphalt rehological analysis and the SBS modified asphalt needle into increases with temperature and load change rule.
