Cement Concrete Pavement Dynamic Loads And Thermal Stress Analysis

Due to the material characteristics, cement concrete pavement has higher anti-bendingstrength, anti-tensile strength, anti-wear ability and higher stability compared to asphaltconcrete pavement, it has been widely used in high-grade road with requirement of highercapacity. This paper chooses cement concrete pavement as the study object, combined withthe domestic researches on dynamic load of cement concrete pavement and temperature loadeffect, use the elastic layer theory of the Elasticity Mechanics, analyze the pavementdisplacement and stress distribution under mobile vehicle load, temperature load andtemperature-structure coupling influence.This paper first describes the advantages and disadvantages of the pavement andpavement analysis theory, states vehicle-pavement interaction mechanism, selects mobilevehicle load model. Using the finite element ANSYS to simulate the cement concretepavement, applies moving pressure under the standard axle load, sets different pavementphysical parameters: the panel thickness, different speeds of mobile pressure and panelmodulus, analyze the dynamic response of pavement under these factors. Adopts thermalanalysis function of ANSYS to study pavement stress distribution in the temperature field andtemperature-structural coupling field. Discuss the influence of temperature and concreteconductivity on stress. Analyzes continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP) byoverall reinforced-concrete model, investigate the pavement dynamic responses underdifferent reinforcement ratios.Informed by computational analysis, pavement dynamic response will change withdifferent parameters, reinforcement will reduce the pavement stress effectively. Under thetemperature and vehicle load, pavement stress and displacement are larger. The conclusionscan help us with cement concrete pavement maintenance work.
