Recent years,the scale of transportation infrastructure is increasing,and theimprovement of highways bear the brunt,which lead to a new”high”characteristics inthe highways tunnel construction.The improvement of the land transport network callsfor the transport infrastructure’s extention to the harsh natural conditions,the highlatitude or high altitude cold regions which are inaccessible in the past.Traffic accidents often happen because of the snow and ice on the roads in thetunnel entrance of cold regions.The method of melting snow and ice in the pastalways cause the destruction of the pavement structure and the pollution of theenvironment. This paper presents a new way of deicing-laying heating cable in thepavement layer. Depth and systematic research will be made in this paper under fieldtest, laboratory experiments, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods.What’s more, a contrast analysis with the test section will be made to verify thenon-slip effect, finally to form the key non-skid technologies of the cold areahighway tunnel entrance.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.To carry out the field tests and laboratory experiments on thawing ice throughheating cable, and study the effectiveness and feasibility of the system underdifferent conditions.2.Establish a finite element model of the pavement structure, analyze thevarious conditions of road surface temperature field, and experimental results werecompared to verify the accuracy of the system and determine the best warm-up timeof the system.3.By the numerical simulation of the system, pavement power under differentexternal conditions will be determined, and set a reasonable length of fortificationunder the consideration of combination of various factors.4.It makes demands in the system control requirements,in the case of differenttemperatures and different traffic flow levels, sub-parts of the control, completionof the initial control of the system will be achieved.
