Hybrid cable-stayed bridge has not only the beautiful appearance; also with its powerfulperformance by the load and superior economic performance. Nowadays, it, hence, graduallybecome one of the main long-span bridge type. With the rapid development of science andtechnology, the structure of bridge, in the future, will be more light-duty, slim andrationalization. At the same time, it will bring to the construction of bridge higher difficulties.So the construction control research of the long span hybrid cable-stayed bridge will haveimportant applicative value. This paper, based on a steel-concrete hybrid cable-stayed bridgewhich was just built few months ago, will be research the bridge theoretical calculation andsite-monitoring methods and techniques.This paper, firstly, briefly introduced the development situation of the hybridcable-stayed bridge, and the current research status of the tower-beam synchronousconstruction technology. Then, according to the experience of bridge construction controlbefore, combining with the actual situation of this bridge, a set of effective monitoring systemhas established. According to various kinds of problems meeting at the practical engineering,the paper elaborate on some of the major factors of the cable-stayed bridge constructioncontrol.In order to be able to build this bridge to the traffic ahead of time, the scheme of thepylon and beam synchronous construction technology was proposed. This scheme hassignificantly advantages: it can not only distinct shorten the construction period; also cangreatly reduce the cost of project, with great economic and social benefits. In this paper, weuse the unknown load coefficient method for the initial equilibrium analysis of cable-stayedbridge, and then establish the models of the tower-beam synchronous construction andtower-beam asynchronous construction considering the general combining ability not closedof stay-cables and closure segment, to calculation reasonable construction condition throughthe method of installing iteration, and verify the feasibility of tower-beam synchronousconstruction through compared the results of the two construction method and the successfulimplementation of Huai-an bridge construction control.This paper expounds each kind of key problems meeting at the cable-stayed bridge siteduring monitoring, such as how to control the verticality and the deviation of tower in theprocess of tower-beam synchronous construction, and the linear control of steel box girder,and construction control of closure segment, etc. This paper, firstly, put forward tangent method to control the tower construction in the process of tower-beam synchronousconstruction, ensure the main tower’s verticality under construction and make the deviation ofthe top of the tower meet the construction control requirements after the bridge in. And we,during the construction process, take reasonable effective measures to make each constructionstage security going well, finally make the closure segments closure according to intendedtarget successfully.
