Cable-stayed bridges become one of the main long-span bridges type, because of its appearance, performance by the load, capacity across the river and the economic superiority. Structures will more delicate, more lightweight future and it bring to the construction more difficulties, therefore, the construction control system research of large-span bridges has important practical value. In this paper, a national cable-stayed bridge under construction for the project example adaptive control method is applied to the actual construction control, and tower and beam synchronous construction methods is proposed.A forward-analysis method is introduced, in which the actual construction process is considered. The influences of geometric nonlinearity are taken into account. Adaptive control method is currently considered the best method to cable-stayed bridge construction control. The synthetic method of the least bending energy method and the stress balance method was used, and cable forces are adjusted to get the reasonable forces. Those provide a theoretical basis for the construction control of cable-stayed bridge.The problems encountered at the practice of cable-stayed bridge construction control are introduced. How to determine and adjust the important parameter, the cable midst tensile forces and the main beam form setting levels in constructing cable-stayed bridge, has also been analyzed, besides, the corresponding calculation method is introduced and applied to the actual construction controlling.Tower and beam synchronous construction method is discussed. It has obvious advantages: Shorten the construction period, cost savings, and economic. But there are also a lot of difficulties: how to control the deviation of main tower and how to formulate a specific program. In this paper, with comparison of this method and traditional methods, influencing factors are analyzed, and a quantitative calculation is conducted. Finally, the control limits and control methods were proposed.
