The hybrid steel girder is that according to the stress state and failure modes, applying thecombination with different strength grades of steel. The research of hybrid steel girder startedearlier and mature in Foreign country. Relatively the domestic research of hybrid steel girderis still in the initial stage. Now, hybrid steel girder is widely used in bridge engineering, butvery little in construction engineering.The paper select the common hybrid steel girder for the study.with the finite elementanalysis software-ANSYS, Comparing the applicability of the formulas for flexural capacitywith different width-thickness ratio and depth-thickness ratio of the combination beam’sflange. In combination with a project case, the dynamic performance of the finite elementsoftware SAP2000was adopted to analysis. The static elastic-plastic Push-Over method isapplied for the analysis of ordinary and hybrid steel girder, from that, we get the difference ofeach other. In the end, we can get the Degree of influence on structural performance forhybrid steel girder.The Push-Over method is adopted with the SAP2000to analysis twelve-floor framestructures with ordinary and hybrid steel girder in the seven and eight intensity. From theshear-roof displacement relational curves, the floor displacement, the story drift and so on, wecan evaluated the seismic resistance of the structure. From these results, we know that usehybrid steel girder will Weaken the seismic resistance of the structure but very little, however,it can significantly enhance the structure of the deformation capacity,as well as saving projectcost. And the seismic intensity the smaller the smaller of the impact. If we can make good useof it, it can replace the ordinary beam so that we can get the Purpose of economy.
