For long time, Reynolds-Number Effects of bridge deck section is a complicated topic,although many scholars have carried out lots of research works for the Reynolds numbereffects of bridge deck section, their studies of Reynolds-Number Effects of bridge decksection are only staying on the bridge deck which is on construction state. Prof. Li hadpointed out whether guardrail will affect the Reynolds-Number effects for the test section, andhe had studied the bridge section of Sutong Bridge, it was found that the guardrail wouldaffect the Reynolds-Number effects for the bridge section. But Prof. Li only discovered thisphenomenon, and there is no quantitative study of various ancillary structures, and he onlyconsidered the0°wind angle for the Reynolds number effects of bridge deck section. For thesereasons, this paper mainly focuses on the following research:1. This paper is based on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao jianghai direct ship channelbridge which is under construction for engineering background. The surface pressure ofseveral states of the section (basic section, the section of construction state and completedstate) are measured in a large Reynolds number range, and calculate the three aerodynamiccoefficients by pressure integration method.2. By changing the wind attack angle, Reynolds-Number effects of the surface pressuredistribution and the three aerodynamic coefficients with different wind attack angle areinvestigated.3. The paper inquiries into the surface pressure distribution and the three aerodynamiccoefficients with different Reynolds-Number at different states (basic section, the section ofconstruction state and completed state), and discuss the sensitive of Reynolds-Number effectsof bridge deck section for maintenance vehicle tracks and guardrails.
