This topic selected the closed water conditions of Rhododendrongarden, the Yinyuan Park, and the calamus park in Wuxi city, Jiangsuprovince. The author investigated and analyzed the aquatic plants formwhich was adjusted in2007. The author also sampling the kinds ofwater qualities in different periods in2006and2008. Through verticaland horizontal comparison of the water sampling inspection, the authordiscussed TP, TN and SD three data’ s change to research waterpurification role of aquatic plants in park landscape. The conclusion isthat enough aquatic plants can meliorate water quality, and morepolluter, greater effect. However, the purification of aquatic plants isrestricted, when the aquatic plants form a system, to achieve stablegrowth, and the aquatic plants for N P absorption is no longer clear thatcan no longer play a significant role in purification. But to regard the maintenance good water bodies and the good park landscape, aquaticplant’s function is indispensable.
