Research Of Application And Optimized Configuration Of Aquatic Plants For Fuzhou West Lake Park

Construction of water landscape is getting more popular with rapidly increasing Chinese urban economy and landscape construction.Aquatic Gardens as an important plant material in water landscape construction,is not only good to landscaping water environment,but it can also purify the water.So it has been widely used in the construction of water landscape garden for its benefits in landscape and ecological.In this article,we did some researches about the West Lake Park of Fu Zhou.We selected seven sitesand made a survey and statistics,using AHP to created the aquatic plants configuration optimization mode,to assess the Aquatic plant configuration.According to the results.we came up with relevant problems.Constructed the tens of Aquatic plant configuration’s optimized model. Aimimg at providing a scientific and theoretical basis about the rational allocation of of aquatic plants for Fuzhou West Lake Park in the future.The major findings are as follows:1.Through the survey about the application of aquatic plants at 7 sites of Fuzhou West Lake Park,the results shows:Fuzhou West Lake Park have 33 kinds of aquatic plants,which belongs to 19 families,29 genera.Specifically,there are 28 kinds of emergent plants,2 kinds of floating leaf plants and submerged plants perspectively and only 1 kind floating plant.2.Through the Survey about the growth cycle of aquatic plants at Fuzhou West Lake Park,the result shows:The germination of aquatic plants is mostly concentrated on the annual Marchand the vegetative phase is form April to May.As for the flowering period,it generally from April to October,and turn to wither period during October and November.dormancy period is from December to February.3.According to the statistics about the aquatic plants’ ornamental characteristics-color,plant height and optimum depth,the results shows:Flowers and foliages at Fuzhou West Lake Park constitute its main ornamental characteristic and the color of flowers is full of variety.The heights of most plants are between 5cm to 200cm and the suitable water depths of aquatic plants aremainly between 5cm to 100cm.4.1t can be concluded from the evaluation of aquatic plants configuration of Fuzhou West Lake Park:None of the 7 sites can be ranked as the excellent aquatic plants configuration;5sites ranked as good which were evaluated to be 6-8 points;and there are 2 sites evaluated to be 4 to 6 points.5.Summary of the main configurationissues of aquatic plants at Fuzhou West Lake Park:single life form; lack of species;irrational use of landscape space;winter landscape should be improved.6. Proposed optimized suggestions for the main configuration problem of aquatic plants at Fuzhou West Lake Park:considering the local conditions.allocate rationally;introduce species scientifically to enrich the diversity of life forms;pay attention to the diversity of species,to enrich visual quality;Using the different height of plant,shape waterscape space;create a evergreen landscape by scientifically configuration.7. Build the optimized configuration mode of aquatic plants 10 kinds according to the main problems and optimized suggestions about the configuration of aquatic plants at Fuzhou West Lake Park.
