With the gradual depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the more serious problems ofenvironmental pollution, a new type of green renewable energy has been paid more andmore attention to. As an important parameter to reflect the performance of solar modules, thesolar modules nominal operating temperature is in urgent need of a set of convenient, accurate measurement system. This paper has designed and implemented an automatedmeasurement system of basic virtual instrument‘s solar modules nominal operatingtemperature under Windows platform. This system, which realizes to measure the nominaloperating temperature of most solar modules, has a practical and guiding significance toimprove the measuring technology of solar cell module‘s performance parameter. In terms of hardware, this automated measurement system, according to the requirementsof IEC61215, selects the data acquisition, wind anemometer, radiation meter andtemperature meter and other equipment, which are in line with the requirements of nominalworking temperature measurement. In terms of software, this system‘s software architecturesystem is hierarchically divided by ABBET standard, as well as designed drawing on thesoftware architecture of VISA. In the process of software design and implement, accordingto module programming, this system is divided into seven modules of test executionmanagement module, system management module, instrument module, data acquisitionmodule, data analysis module, data storage module, report generation module. In order toachieve the design goal, at first this system realizes the function of each independent module, then systematically integrate them.In order to verify the measurement results of this system, this paper takes a knownnominal operating temperature of the solar modules as an example, which are measured bythe automated measuring systems of this paper, and the results show that this system is ableto meet the measurement requirements and complete the measurement tasks, with thefeatures of convenient, fast and high degree of automation.
