It has brought in lots of needs for the solar cell test equipment as the explosive growthof photovoltaic industry. This paper designs the portable test system for solar cell based onnature light source to meet the need in outdoor test, which could get parameters of the solarcell by testing I-V curve.Based on system demand analysis, this paper optimizes the electronic load circuit toreach a great linearity and stability, designs power supply system based on Li battery tomeet the demand of portable system, in the compensation power part takes50F supercapacity to solve the problem of large current in pulse. With the PC’s powerful calculationablity, this paper designs simple debugging software to save the data from the hardwaresystem by RS232to EXCEL files to optimize the hardware system plan and complete thedesign and verification of the related algorithm. In the aspect of algorithm, this paperadopts DMA to implement the synchronization of ADC and save the mass dataautomatically, takes oversampling technique to increase the sampling precision, designs theleast square method orthogonal polynomial algorithm to optimize the calculation of theresults and decrease the error introduced by discrete data, adds illumination andtemperature correct algorithm to correct the error introduced by illumination andtemperature and increase the repeat precision of the results.This paper completes the design and verification of the hardware system and relatedalgorithm by breadboards and simple debugging software. Until the hardware plan andalgorithm has been verified, this paper designs PCB, and redesigns complete softwaresystem with C#to implement this system. The test results prove that the system’s repeatprecision is high.This system has small size, high test stability, can reach the demand of the design.There is a great research value and market value in the area of solar cell test, so a furtherreaserch is hoped to carry on.
