In the paper, author introduces optimization method of the cable force in idealsingle-tower cable-stayed bridge and the solving the initial tension in stages ofconstruction. Based on the HuangChuan cable-stayed bridge with full framingconstruction, with engineering optimization design method, the author establishs themathematical model for cable tension optimization in singel-tower cable-stayed bridge,and proposed a cable force calculation method in ideal bridge state based on optimizationtheory. By the finite element model from Midas Civil and the output impact matrix, basedon numerical analysis using Matlab toolbox, the author achieves the optimized cable forcein completion stage. Then, in the paper, the author validates the feasibility of optimizationmethod through completion stage analysis with the optimized cable force. Finally,according to construction method of HuangChuan bridge, the author analyses andcompares the stress between one tensioned construction and secondary tensionedconstruction, and gives a reasonable cable tension model in construction stage.
