The arch tower cable-stayed bridge as a new form of bridge, the stress distribution is more complicated. The cable force optimization deserves further research because domestic and overseas literature in this area is relatively scarce. If the arch tower cable-stayed bridge can be optimized and improve the mechanical performance of the structure, it is of great significance to the actual engineering construction.Based on the engineering background of Town East Bridge in Chaoyang city, Liaoning province, the author myself research the cable force of the finished arch tower cable-stayed bridge state, and calculate the recogntion in the early construction stage of the cable. Following work mainly be completed:(1)The development situation of cable-stayed bridge at domestic and abroad and the engineering example of arch tower cable-stayed bridge are summarized;(2)The research status of cable force optimization of cable-stayed bridge is summarized, which provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of cable force in this paper;(3)Town East Bridge finite element model is established by using MIDAS / civil. Using the unkNown load coefficient method, cable force of arch tower cable-stayed bridge is be optimized;(4)Using the strain energy minimization method, respectively for main girder and arch tower, serving the minimum total of the bending, tension and compression strain energy of the component as the objective function, the girder and arch tower of the bending moment, axial force, displacement and cable tension as the constraint conditions. By using Matlab to calculate and solve, the optimal cable force satisfying the constraint conditions is obtained;(5)For the constraint conditions, change displacement of the node of the main girder and the cable as zero, then the optimal solution is solved. The above three kinds of optimized cable force is compared with designed cable force;(6)By using the influence matrix method to solve the initial tension of the cable in the construction stage, the cable force by one tensioned reaches into the design value of finished bridge state.Based on the solution of Town East Bridge of the cable force optimization of the finished bridge state and the initial tension of the construction stage, it provide the basis for the later engineering construction.
