Regional Culture In City Embodiment And Application In The Park

China’s economy is now at a rapid development period, the process of urbanization is alsoincreasingly accelerated, the trend of the development of the city and the city’s rapid developmentincreasingly eroding the city cultural heritage. The continuous development of the city directly impacts ourcountry’s native culture, and therefore it is facing an unprecedented crisis: the city cultural is forgetting bythe modern human being day by day, the local culture is strongly influenced by the exotic culture,thousands of the cities, less differentiated. At the same time, ecological imbalance and other negativeeffects will follow when environmental pollution is getting worse and worse. So China’s cities can retaintheir own regional characteristics or not, that has already become an unprecedented challenge for mankindin the future development.The city park is an important component of the city’s image, important means to enhance the qualityof human life, and also the important place to bear the city culture and civilization. The subjects of thispaper are city parks and regional cultural phenomenon which reflects the city’s characteristics, focusing onanalysis and research the expressing methods and design concepts of regional culture in city parks. It isvery necessary to consider the concept of regional culture in park designing within the modern background.City culture-based makes the park own its unique image and the unique image of the park makes the viewentities in city parks come to life. In face of rapid development of the cities, some city parks pursuemodernization blindly, so that a group of parks occurs with the shortage of native cultures and regionalfeatures. Lack of regional features in a city leads the city park lost its lasting vatility.City park design must respect not only nature, but also the local customs and habits, increase thecultural connotations of city parks and inherit of the city culture. Only when reasonably using regionalculture in city park design, we can create a harmonious and sustainable park and city image with its ownregional features. Therefore, to study the regional culture in city parks has a lot of meaning.This paper take the regional culture as a starting point, thus to grasp the dependency relationshipbetween the city park and regional culture, analyze the problems of city park in regional culture.Combining the relative theories and practical researches, this paper analyzes principle, related elements,and trying to find out the feasibility program to solve the problems.
