According to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Transportation in2012,ourcountry produce the waste materials of asphalt pavement is as high as1.6tons every year onlyin the trunk highway Repairing Project. But, the recycling rate of our country’s actualpavement material is less than30%,and the Euro-American countries’ are as high as90%now. The Ministry of Transportations has issued a guidance on accelerating the recycling ofroad pavement material. In the guidance, our country target the regeneration cycle of thenational road network increased by40%to50%. The mileage of the annual regeneration cycleconstruction had nearly46,000km only in highways and trunk roads, and the needs of theequipment are more than10billion yuan. The foamed asphalt is one of the regenerationtechnique of asphalt pavement. The construction equipment of the foam asphaltcold-recycling is completely dependent on imports. So, the study of asphalt foamingequipment has the important theory significance and the project value.The asphalt foaming cavity is the Key technique of the foamed asphalt cold-recyclingconstruction equipment. The thesis did deep studies on both the test of asphalt foamingprocess parameters and the Fluent simulation of the asphalt foaming structure parameters. Theconclusion of this thesis is as follows:Tests, which are in the particular asphalt foaming cavity and use different brands of thesame modle asphalt, have a flow range that the quality of asphalt foaming will not be affected.The conclusion provides a reference range of the asphalt foaming cavity control parameters inthe practical engineering application. In the study of the asphalt foaming structure parameters,the thesis can introduces Fluent to simulate the process of the foaming effect of differentfoaming cavities. The simulation can only use the average velocity of the export and theaverage density of the export to evaluate the rate of expansion indirectly. So it can reduce thenumber of processing and testing times in the research, short the cycle of the design andreduce the cost.
