Earth-rock mixture exit in Xinjiang widely. It is the main filler of subgrade in xinjang.Which has good performance for its little deformation, high density, high strength andpermeability, anti-scouring performance. But it varies with Wide range of particle size. Thecurrent sand filling method to detect earth-rock subgrade was not only with a single teststandards, but also time-consuming and force-consuming to hinder the progress ofconstruction. Therefore, It is of very important practical significance to studycompaction characteristics of earth-rock mixture,slao does good to rearch on rapidassessment method on the compaction quality of earth-rock mixture subgrade.The maximum density of earth-rock mixture is related with many factors such asmaximu diameter,the content of rock and grade.IT is necessary to consider zhses factors.Though reaching on the three methods to deal with oversized coarse, The paperproposes a the indoor test method to determining the maximum dry density And the paperproposes a method to correct the maximum dry density of earth-rock subgrade inXinjiang, which take consideration of the variability of the earth-rock mixture in Xinjiang.Besides that, conducting vibration compaction test,the paper analyzes the compactioncharacteristics and develops the maximum dry density Prediction model respectivelybased on the maximum diameter and both maximum diameter and the content of stone inthe guidance of the previous method.The paper develops two modes by the particle flow software, which is he indoorvibration compaction model and the model of outdoor vibration rolling of subgrade. Theformer verify different factors such as maximum diameter and the content of stoneinfluence on the compacion effect, also forecast aggregate roughness and stiffness of effectinfluence on density and modulus.The latter lay the foundation for technology ofconstruction to detect the compaction quality of earth-rock subgrade.Relying on Yingning-DunMazha Highway subgrade,the paper try to use two methodto control the compaction quality of earth-rock mixtures,which are control by thecompation technology and PFWD method.Also,the paper proposes the compaction quality control standards and evaluation system,for the both two method.
