As a type of highway subgrade,stone filled subgrade is widely used in remote areas and mountainous areas in China due to its high bearing capacity and convenient materials.Due to the large particle size of the stone filled subgrade,the insufficient compaction degree of the subgrade often occurs,which will lead to the poor filling quality of the subgrade and lead to the settlement of the subgrade,thus damaging the pavement structure layer.Therefore,it is very important to select and use the appropriate heavy roller and the corresponding construction technology to solve the problem of insufficient subgrade compaction.In order to solve the above problems,based on the Stone Filled Subgrade of the section A1 from Zhangling to Xilinji of Jingmo highway,this paper uses the heavy-duty compaction equipment to carry out the field compaction test,in order to obtain the relevant construction process parameters of the heavy-duty roller,study the compaction effect changes,and determine the subgrade detection methods and indicators.First of all,carry out the relevant engineering property experiment for the test section filler;then carry out the field compaction test,use the settlement difference method to obtain the relationship between the different filling thickness and the rolling times,monitor the earth pressure at different depths,and obtain the effective compaction depth of the heavy-duty roller;finally,use the dynamic deformation modulus and foundation coefficient method to detect the subgrade compaction quality,and select the suitable one for the stone filled subgrade Test method and determine compaction standard.According to the field compaction test results,the compaction depth of 36 ton roller is increased to 100cm compared with 22 ton roller in the test section with different thickness;in the test section with the same thickness,the test results of accumulated settlement,dynamic deformation modulus(EVD)and foundation coefficient(K30)show that the 36 ton roller test section has better compaction effect.The key points of construction technology of 36 ton heavy-duty roller on stone filled subgrade are summarized as follows:using 28 Hz/2.1mm/810kn vibration gear,loose paving coefficient of 1.15,rolling 8 times when the compaction thickness is 100cm,and the compaction speed of 2?4km/h.By comparison,the dynamic deformation modulus detection method is more suitable for the use of stone filled subgrade,and the detection standard is 40MPa/m2.After the application of heavy compaction equipment in stone filled subgrade,it has achieved good engineering,economic and social benefits,and has a good application prospect.
