Cable Force Measurement of the structure with cable is a very important partin its construction or operation management. The change of cable force willdirectly affect the force state and alignment of the tructures. Test of cabletension of existing structure with cable is a key step to ensure its safeoperation.The main research object of this paper is Cable Tension Measurement ofCable-Stayed Bridge. Through researched the domestic and international datainformation,this paper make a deep research on the method of oscillatingfrequency technique on cable stress detection. The main content of this paperare as follows.On the one hand,this paper introduced a variety of factors affectthe test results of vibration frequency method, such as flexural rigidity,boundary conditions, sag, temperature, shock absorber and the appropriatemeasures to reduce the influence of various factors;On the other hand, basedthe energy method, used the MATLAB software,considered the elements of combinedboundary condition and the influence of damper, the new formulas were deducedin this paper and the them were verified correctly through the cable forcecalculation of the1#bridge and2#bridge in Xi’an Chan Ba.The research results of this paper will provide some accurate cable forcecalculation formulas and some Reliable calculating method for the future stayingpower test of cable especially the short cable with combined boundary conditionor shock absorber.
