In our country a lot of cement concrete pavements have been built in the lastcentury, which mostly need maintenance at present. The complex pavement structureof old cement concrete pavement paving asphalt layer not only can play the advantageof strength of the original concrete pavement, but also can make full use of theintegrity and comfort of the asphalt pavement.It is a good reconstruction way of oldcement concrete pavement. However, this kind of complex pavement structure isprone to produce reflection cracks, which not only impact the aesthetic sense topavements, but also shorten the pavement service life. A lot of studies show that,Stress-absorbing interlays have a superior function in the field of delaying orrestraining the reflective cracking.Therefore, based on the analysis of processingmeasures, effects and existing problems of the reflection crack, this paper focus onstudying about preveting crack mechanism, structural characteristics, materialcomposition and anti-cracking performance of rubber asphalt stress absorbed layer.First of all, this paper analyzes the mechanism of reflection crack generation anddevelopment, combined the principle of the stress absorbed layer preventing reflectivecrack, puts forward the functional requirement of the stress absorbed layer, usesABUQUS finite element method to analysis the influence factors of sealing layerstructure, and determine the value range of the material parameters.Second, based on the analysis of the function difference between the stressabsorbed layer and the common asphalt mixture, the material characteristics of theasphalt binder has been studied. Aming at the common problem such as bond weak ormove between layers, this essay presents the shear strength as the design index ofSAMI layer. Through the analysis of the parameters such as asphalt binder, asphaltcontent and the amount of the gravel which have effect on the shear strength, establishthe shear strength prediction model, summarize and put forward a design method ofmaterial composition which is based on the shear strength between the layers.Then, use the Hamburg Wheel Tracking test to simulate the fatigue anti-crackability of SAMI composite structure, study the respective influence of water and temperature to the fatigue life, verify the performance of SAMI preveting reflectioncrack and the improvement of the fatigue life, which have certain regional referencevalue.Finally, through the entity engineering roadways and performance observation,verify the design method we brought up above, and summarizes the constructionprocess of the SAMI sealing layer, analyzes its effectiveness of reflection crack.
